About NJIN

The New Jersey Immunization Network (NJIN) is a statewide coalition of over 400 individuals representing 180 organizations that is jointly co-founded and led by the New Jersey Chapter, American Academy of Pediatrics (NJAAP) and the New Jersey Academy of Family Physicians (NJAFP).

The mission of the Network is to protect the health of all individuals through timely, age-appropriate immunization against vaccine-preventable diseases by educating the public, healthcare professionals, and policy makers about vaccine safety and benefits.

Funding

Funding for the New Jersey Immunization Network comes from the New Jersey Department of Health as well as private foundations and corporations. NJIN maintains strict editorial independence in all publications, electronic, and print materials. Contributions from pharmaceutical companies are in the form of educational grants that are made with the strict understanding that the company does not have input into publication content or editorial policies.
